Well since we're at Starfleet HQ right now I've come to them with an idea. I've asked that the Mexen be issued a decommisioned Defiant Class starship. The reasons I put to support my request are:

1) If the Mexen is under attack, instead of displaying it's suppieriour firepower and potential we launch the Defiant as an offensive/defensive ship.

2) While the Mexen is off doing system tests and other mission parameters, the Defiant can go and explore/map anything that we haven't mapped yet, and do long term away missions so that we do not have to compromise our primary mission of the Mexen.

3) If the Mexen does have to fight an extra ally doesn't hurt any.

4) It'll be better then many escape pods, a little cramped but, a lot safer.

I hope that Starfleet command will authorize this because I feel that I need my own ship sometimes, and that a few of the crew feels the same way and it adds a bit more excitement, believe to the entire mission. Now all I have to do is work on the specs and see what Starfleet says. Well, I have a dinner date to attend to.

Yeah I know, I'm actually using the stardates and time again. Well I've been temporarily promoted to First officer as Commander Megos has been shipped back to Earth to help with the new hull design of the Mexen. Well, I've been the First Officer before and well, it's not that bad, I'd like to be in total command of my own ship, flying wherever I want and doing what I want. Hmmm, maybe I should start saving up some money of somesort so I can buy my own ship. I might go for a Starfleet vessel, they might work... but I wish we get paid SOMEthing, ANYthing would be helpful.... I'm thinkin' I might actually start dealing in Romulan Ale or something like that. Transpot some sort of goods to make some sort of profit. I know, I'm sounding like a Ferengi, but they have something going with that. Ah well, I'll see what happens. Well, I gotta get back to work. Not sure if anyone's heard about it or anything but we're going to be mapping out the Delta Quadrant. Gee, sounds like fun... My opinion is that we should beef up our defenses and go and massacre the Borg, or the Romulans, they've been acting up for a while, see whats up with them. Oi, we're a Warship for Pete's sake! Not an exploration vessel. Ah well, it'll appease some of the masses on board here. I've heard the Chief there complain and complain that we should go explore stuff, and it's pissin' me off... plus I still need to introduce him personally to my D'k tagh. hehehehehe. I haven't been keeping up with the stardates as of lately, so that doesn't matter right now.

The Chief came up to the bridge staff with the idea of a weekly or biweekly poker game. Sounds interesting, as long as we're playing for something, and that'll give me a chance to get close to him so I can....."help" him with my Dk'tagh. Yes I'm still holding a grudge. Though I shouldn't be. But I just don't like it when people shoot me, and no matter what that human says I still think it was him. All the evidence points to him. The adrenalin high from the heat of battle, the excitement and jumpiness, the smoking barrel of his gun, the angle of the entry of the bullet, and I'm glad that it was only one cuz three would mean that I would have to really hurt him. Well, I have to fill out some reports and duty rosters, and I still have to work on my little project, Ensign Trina has been working on it in her quarters for a while, I'm not sure how our relationship is going now-a-days but I'm pretty sure that it's going well. I haven't entered a log in here for a while, and with a really good reason. Well, we have had our encoutner with the borg, and we have suffered some minor casualties. Surprisingly me as one of them. Some stupid RECTUM, I believe it was the Chief since he was the only one in the general vincinity, shot me in the leg 'cuz they thought I was a borg. DO I LOOK BORG!!!! Besides that, I was beat around by a borg as I tried to kill the damend thing with my bat'leth, Commander Megos thankfully came up and finished the bugger, he was unfortunately borgified from behind after that, I killed that one, rushed him to sickbay, then I went to my post on the bridge. Got the crap shocked, and burned out of me, so I've been in my quarters healing myself for the past while cuz there ain't NO way I'm letting that Vulcan TOUCH me with a hypo spray! Most all the crew has gone through the simulations that the Commander and I have set up for them, and from the results they look promising. I've run test after test after test on the new security measures that have been installed, and they look promising as well. I gave the job the targeting systems of the security measures to a very able member of the engineering crew. So that should work with little to no problems. One other problem that we've run into is that the ammo in the Pulse Rifles may punch through the hull, so we have strengthened the structural integrety fields, and have put up force fields at certain points, and lining the inside of the hull to stave off hull breaches. It's lookin' mighty good seeing all the crew armed and ready for battle. Heh, sounding like a Klingon more and more.. hehehehe.... *door chime*That's the door, gotta go. Computer, end recording.

Ok, my security plan has been approved!! YES!!! I'm going to be fixing some stationary weapons platforms in every coridor, at every forcefield generator, and not only are they going to have phaser emitters, I'm fitting them with old fashioned slug throwers. Also I'm replicateing, en masse, old M4A1 Pulse Rifles, and I'm going to be running the crew through sims on how to use them, and also on combat with them against the borg. hehehee... crap, computer, end recording.

I haven't put in a log in a while because I've been to busy. Besides trying to get a personal life on this ship, which is harder then live gagh surviving at a Klingon party, I've been swapmed with reports, schematics, theories, and so much stuff I just want to go on a killing rampage right now... Well, we're going to make contact with the Borg, and my D'k tagh has not left my side since I've heard those orders.... also I've kept a phaser hidden at all my posts that I'd ever be at so I should be well armed if those cybornetic pricks want to board us.
